A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking for any experience; the remaining 50% must be paid 60 days prior to arrival. The initial 50% deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable as these funds secure essential services such as boats and accommodations. However, if cancellation occurs more than 12 months prior to the trip date, this deposit will be fully refundable.
All payments made via bank card will incur an additional 5% fee (bank fees).
All bank transfers must follow our banking instructions (the client is responsible for all bank transfer charges).
By paying your deposit, you accept these Terms and Conditions.
CANCELATIONS made by guests more than 60 days prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount (during local public holidays this fee increases to 100%).
CANCELATIONS made by guests within 60 days prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total booking amount.
If a trip cannot proceed on scheduled dates due to major force events (e.g., pandemics), payments are non-refundable but can be rescheduled based on client availability and Baja Adventures' schedule.
If we successfully resell your spot after a cancellation, we are pleased to offer you credit towards another trip with Baja Adventures.
Please be advised that the second payment, constituting 50% of the total booking cost, must be received within the specified time frame outlined in your payment schedule. If the second payment is not made within 7 days following the due date, Baja Adventures reserves the right to cancel your booking without refund. Timely payment is essential to secure your reservation
Shared Adventures (Scheduled itineraries)
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking for any shared experience; the remaining 50% must be paid 60 days prior to arrival.
The deposit is non-refundable due to administrative expenses; however, if it is possible to resell your spot, you may use this payment for another expedition.

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking for any shared experience; the remaining 50% must be paid 60 days prior to arrival.
The deposit is non-refundable due to administrative expenses; however, if it is possible to resell your spot, you may use this payment for another expedition.
All payments made via bank card will incur an additional 5% fee (bank fees).
All bank transfers must follow our banking instructions (the client is responsible for all bank transfer charges).

CANCELATIONS made by guests
- 50% Refund up until 15 days before your adventure
- 25% Cancellation fee up until 7 days before your adventure
- No refund up until 6 days before your adventure
If you or anyone in your party cancels within this timeframe for any reason (including illness or family emergencies), we cannot refund any payments or deposits.
We strongly advise securing travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances that may prevent participation in scheduled adventures.
A 30-minute grace period is allowed for latecomers on tour day; after this time, the boat will depart and you will forfeit your deposit.
Please be advised that the second payment, constituting 50% of the total booking cost, must be received within the specified time frame outlined in your payment schedule. If the second payment is not made within 7 days following the due date, Baja Adventures reserves the right to cancel your booking without refund. Timely payment is essential to secure your reservation.
Important Notes
Refunds will be issued based on amounts received; please note that bank conversion rates may vary and discrepancies due to these rates or bank policies are not our responsibility.
If a trip cannot proceed due to major force events (e.g., pandemics), payments are non-refundable but can be rescheduled based on client availability.
Weather conditions: If conditions are unsuitable for safely conducting an adventure, it may be canceled. You will have options to reschedule or exchange for another adventure at no additional cost.
Mental state: Participants appearing intoxicated will not be allowed to join and will lose their payment in full.
Non-attendance: Not showing up or arriving more than 30 minutes late will result in a last-minute cancellation with no refund issued.
Waiver of liability: Participants must complete a liability waiver form before starting activities; refusal results in a last-minute cancellation with no refund.
Tips for guides/captains are not included in stated prices and must be given in cash.
Stated prices do not include taxes.
CANCELATIONS BY BAJA ADVENTURES
Control-Related Cancellations: If we cancel a trip for reasons within our control, you will receive a full refund for all amounts paid to us.
Unforeseen Circumstances: In cases of cancellation due to acts of God, inclement weather, natural disasters, political unrest, or other unforeseen events beyond our control, we will work with you to recover costs when possible and/or reschedule your trip if feasible.
What Happens if We Cannot Depart Due to Weather Conditions?Sometimes, weather conditions may prevent us from safely going out to sea. If we determine that it is unsafe to proceed, the following procedures will be implemented:
Single-Day Trips: We will make every effort to arrange an alternative date for your activity during your trip. If rescheduling is not possible, you can choose to apply your deposit toward a future trip or request a refund.
Multi-Day Expeditions: Due to the nature of these trips and the advance payments made for services, we are unable to offer partial refunds for missed boat trips. However, we will always seek alternative activities that can be arranged in place of the missed boat trip.
If you decide not to board the boat despite our assessment that conditions are safe, please note that no refund will be issued. Important Notes:
We are not responsible for any additional costs incurred as a result of cancellations, including flight changes, ticket fees, or lost vacation time. For this reason, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance.
DEALER RESPONSIBILITIES FOR BAJA ADVENTURES
In engaging in business with Baja Adventures, you understand and agree to the following responsibilities:
Guest Agreement
You will ensure that all of your guests have agreed to the retail terms and conditions found on our website.Booking Authority
You are acting on behalf of your guests in making bookings for them.Information Provision
You will be responsible for informing your guests of all information and documentation required by government authorities and Baja Adventures.Documentation Submission
You will obtain the necessary information and documentation from your guests and provide it to us within the established timelines.
By agreeing to these responsibilities, you acknowledge that you will earn a commission based on your bookings.

Compliance with Regulations
Ensure that all bookings comply with local laws and regulations, including those related to safety and environmental protection.Communication
Maintain clear communication with your guests regarding any changes to their bookings or relevant policies that may affect their experience.Customer Service
Provide excellent customer service to enhance the overall experience for your guests, addressing any concerns or questions they may have prior to or during their adventure.Feedback Collection
