LORETO PRISTINE COASTS EXPEDITION

BAJA CALIFORNIA SUR

DURATION:

9 to 10 hours

LOCATION:

Loreto & Agua Verde, BCS

SEASON:

April to October

Agua Verde is a picturesque and remote fishing village located 100 km south of Loreto, on the eastern coast of the Baja California Sur peninsula and the Gulf of California.

With around 100 inhabitants, this oasis offers a tranquil experience and the opportunity to explore the unspoiled nature of the region.

This hidden gem is known for its pristine beaches, limited access, and crystal-clear turquoise waters, surrounded by stunning cliffs and rock formations that create a dramatic and captivating landscape.

Our adventure begins with an exciting 4x4 van journey departing from Loreto, taking us through remote trails for about 2 hours, showcasing contrasting coastal landscapes. The mountains, dotted with giant cacti, provide a spectacular backdrop as we make our way to the virgin beaches of the Gulf of California. Along the route, we can spot various bird and reptile species that call this place home. The view of the sea, with its multiple shades of blue, and the feeling of being almost alone in this paradise fills us with awe and tranquility.

Upon arriving at secluded beaches, the crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life invite us to dive in. Equipped with snorkeling gear, we explore the coast and discover a wide variety of species and other marine creatures. The clarity of the water and the underwater beauty make this an unforgettable experience.

After enjoying the sea, we continue our adventure to the local community. Here, we immerse ourselves in the culture and hospitality of the people of Agua Verde. We savor the local cuisine, including freshly caught seafood prepared with traditional recipes that transport us back in time. This lunch not only offers a culinary delight but also a deep connection to the history and customs of the region.
