The hiking adventure through the canyons of the Sierra de la Giganta begins with an exciting journey in a 4x4 van from Loreto, where you will meet two expert guides in ecology and geology.
1. Transfer from Loreto: 45 minutes in a 4x4 van to the start of the trail.
2. Arrival at the Canyon: Upon arrival, the guides will conduct a safety briefing and introduce you to the area's geology, surrounded by impressive rock formations.
3. Hiking in the Canyon: A 2.5-hour hike through the canyon, observing the local flora and fauna, with information about the species adapted to the arid environment.
4. Return to Loreto: After the hike, you'll return to the 4x4 van for the transfer back to Loreto and reflect on the experience.
