La Puma: Baja Adventures' Super Panga Expedition in Loreto
We are pleased to announce the arrival of "LA PUMA" (The mountain lion), our new 27-foot vessel at Baja Adventures and Nakawe Project. Specially designed for marine expeditions focused on photography, snorkeling, freediving, exploration, science, and productions, La Puma joins our fleet with the purpose of offering unforgettable experiences in Loreto and the Gulf of California.
This super panga responds to our need to provide excellent service to our participants and clients in our regenerative tourism expeditions. Spacious and comfortable, it features dry areas, a bathroom, and is registered for 10 passengers and 2 crew members. We are excited to have Jorge Alberto Lombera as the captain of La Puma. A native of the region with over 40 years of experience navigating these waters, Jorge is a fisheries engineer and a passionate advocate for the sea.
The name "Puma" pays tribute to the mountain lions of this peninsula, symbolizing our connection to nature and our commitment to its protection.
This majestic feline, which roams between the mountains and coasts of the peninsula, embodies resilience and adaptation, reminding us of the importance of preserving its habitat. Just like the Puma, which challenges heights and ecosystems, we aspire to foster a harmonious relationship between humans and the environment, promoting the conservation of species that are essential for the balance of our ecosystems. With the addition of La Puma to our fleet, we are confident that we can offer an even more professional, safe, and satisfying experience to our clients and participants in all our adventures and marine expeditions. Join us on this new adventure and discover the beauty and biodiversity of Loreto and the Gulf of California aboard LA PUMA.
