Empowering conservation: Jackery's journey to Baja California Sur with Regi Domingo, Baja Adventures & Nakawe Project
In April 2024, the Jackery solar generators production team journeyed to Baja California to learn about our conservation efforts and regenerative tourism expeditions. They captured this experience in a beautiful short documentary titled "Live With Nature," which highlights the inspiring work of Regi Domingo, our expedition wildlife leader and founder of the Nakawe Project. The film showcases Regi's passion for protecting endangered species, ecosystems, and the rich cultural heritage of the Baja California Peninsula.
Nathan McBride, the director and cinematographer behind this project, played a pivotal role in bringing the documentary to life. With nearly a decade of experience as an adventure lifestyle videographer, Nathan is known for creating compelling video and photo content for top brands around the world.
His professional, agile, and passionate approach to cinematography pushes the boundaries of visual storytelling. As he puts it, "I want people to be stoked about the brand and story we're representing." Based in Salt Lake City, UT, Nathan's skill set includes full-service video production and specialty drone cinematography, making him an invaluable asset to our project.Throughout the documentary, Regi takes us on a journey through Loreto, Baja California Sur, exploring dynamic ecosystems while sharing her motivations and passion for conservation.
She immerses us in local communities and showcases various species during her expeditions with Baja Adventures and her research work at the Nakawe Project. Regi utilizes Jackery solar generators to power camera traps, laptops, and Starlink devices while operating in remote locations.

This versatility ensures that users remain powered anytime and anywhere. For home backup or off-grid living, Jackery offers models like the 3000 Pro, 2000 Plus, and 1500. These solar generators can power nearly all household appliances, keeping essential devices like WiFi routers and refrigerators running smoothly. Designed to last over ten years with daily use, they are perfect for both outdoor adventures and emergency situations.
During their visit, Jackery provided three units to support our conservation projects: two Jackery Solar Generator 300s (which combine the Explorer 300 Portable Power Station with SolarSaga 100W panels) for RV camping and outdoor activities, and one Jackery Solar Generator 1000 Plus. This setup allows us to harness solar energy effectively while running various devices such as laptops, drones, mini coolers, and digital cameras. The documentary "Live With Nature" not only captures Regi's commitment to conservation but also illustrates how Jackery solar generators empower her efforts in protecting Baja California's unique ecosystems.
